Question: I can’t swim, can I still go down the Cèze by canoe?

Our answer: You must be able to swim and you must also wear the provided life-jacket.

Our answer: The Cèze is accessible to all ages, children are under the responsibility of their parents.


Question: Can we take a 10 year old child with us in the canoe?

Our answer: Yes, you can.


Question: Do we need to be accompanied by a professional on the Cèze?

Our answer: No, because the Cèze is a calm river, accessible to everyone.


Question: If a want to make a two day trip on the Cèze, do I need to bring a tent and food?

Our answer: You can sleep under the open skies, but we advise you to bring a small tent (in case it rains) and you should certainly bring food and drink because it’s difficult to find shops by the river.


Question:I would like to camp by the river, is that possible?

Our answer: It is possible to spend the night by the river; there is no specifically designated area for camping. There are however several campsites along the river.


Question: If I want to make a two or three day trip, do I have to start at a specific time during the day?

Our answer: You can start at any time you like.


Question: Can I make a short trip if I only have an hour and a half?

Our answer: In an hour and a half you can do 7 km.


Question: Is canoeing difficult?

Our answer: Canoeing on the Cèze is not very difficult, anyone can do it, as long as you know how to swim.
